Our Accommodation
The Grange has 18 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. All rooms are fully furnished and have access to WiFi and TV access. We encourage individuals to make the space their own with their personal belongings. We want to ensure maximum comfort to our residents by ensuring they are treated with dignitiy, respect and have maximum privacy.
We also have a number of communal areas including two lounges, dining room, spacious garden with external BBQ and dining areas. The home also has a lift to access the first floor, an external smoking shelter and in-house laundry.
We encourage our residents to be involved with the day to day running of the home where appropriate. They will be fully supported with their responsibilities by our dedicated support team.
Local Area
The Grange is a 10 minute walk from Westcliff railway station which provides easy access from Thurrock or London. A short, 15 minute walk will take you to Chalkwell Beach which itself leads to Southend Beach, famously known as The Golden Mile. Here visitors can enjoy the array of arcades, shops, restaurants including the all important fish and chips!
If you prefer taking in some fresh air, you can enjoy simple, leisurely walks in Chalkwell Park or at the promenade in Priory Park. For residents wishing to venture further afield, they can take a train to Shoeburyness where they can explore Shoebury Common Beach or Gunner’s Park Nature Reserve.
Southend City has lots to offer and explore including the famous Southend Pier, the longest pier in the UK, Cliff Pavillion Theatre which brings the West End to Southend whilst giving visitors dramatic views of the city, Southend Central Museum & Planetarium, Sealife Adventure plus ample choice of cinemas, hotels and restaurants.
